Plately

Dinner, on autopilot

Never answer “what's for dinner?” again.

Three chores that used to eat your week — figuring out what's for dinner, writing the grocery list, and doing the shopping. Plately does all three: it plans the week around what your household eats, builds a per-store list with a running budget, and fills your Walmart or Amazon cart. You just review it and check out.

$20/mo or $160/yr. 7-day free trial, card required, no charge until day 8. Cancel anytime.

Sound familiar?

The part of dinner nobody signs up for.

The cooking can be the fun part. It's everything around it — the deciding, the listing, the shopping — that quietly runs your week, and it usually lands on one person. Here's what Plately takes off your plate.

The 5 o'clock question

It's 5 o'clock and the question lands again — what's for dinner? You've answered it a thousand times, and you'll answer it again tomorrow.

With Plately

Plately plans the whole week for you, matched to your household's tastes, diet, and budget. Keep it as is, or swap any meal — regenerate a single day or the entire week with a tap.

The list

You settled on the meals — now cross-reference every recipe, guess what's already in the pantry, and scribble a list you'll still half-forget at the store.

With Plately

Plately turns the plan into one per-store list, grouped by aisle, with your pantry restocks folded in and a running total so the bill never surprises you.

The trip

Then the shopping itself: the drive and the aisles — or forty minutes typing each item into Walmart, one at a time, hoping you picked the right size.

With Plately

Approve the list and the Auto Shopper fills your Walmart or Amazon cart for you, item by item, at the prices it actually sees. You review and check out.

The catalog

2,277 recipes. Every one photographed.

Browse in English or Spanish — the whole catalog is translated, and you can switch anytime.

How it works

One path, walked once a week

Plately isn't a pile of features. It's a single loop, and each step hands off cleanly to the next.

Plan

Plately plans the week

Plately fills a seven-day grid from the catalog, matched to your household's diet, cuisines, and servings. Love it as is, or swap any meal — regenerate a single day or the whole week with a tap. Everything reads in English or Spanish, your choice.

The Auto Shopper

A helper that fills carts — and knows where to stop.

It's a Chrome extension. It does one job well, and it's honest about its edges.

What it does

  • Fills your cart at Walmart and Amazon — searching, matching, and adding each approved item it can find.
  • Tells you what it couldn't match or what's out of stock, instead of silently dropping it.
  • At Costco, saves a product to your catalog with one click. That's it — no Costco cart-filling.
  • Records the price it actually observed, so your running total stays honest.

What it never does

  • Never clicks "Place order." Checkout is always yours.
  • Never sees, stores, or touches your payment details.
  • Sends only product IDs, search terms, and observed prices — nothing else about you.
  • No analytics or third-party trackers on any page where you're signed in.

Questions, answered

How does the free trial work?

You get full access for 7 days. We ask for a card up front so your plan continues without interruption, but you won't be charged until day 8 — and you can cancel anytime before then.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Manage your membership from Settings → Billing whenever you like. Cancel before your trial ends and you'll never be charged.

Does Plately spend my money?

Never. The Auto Shopper only fills your cart. You always review the order and complete checkout yourself — Plately never sees or touches your payment details.

Which stores does it work with?

Cart-filling works at Walmart and Amazon. At Costco you can save a product to your catalog with one click, but the extension does not fill a Costco cart.

Can my household share one account?

That's the whole idea. One household, one shared plan — the same meals, list, and budget for everyone who cooks and shops. No seats, no roles, no admin tier.

What does the extension see?

Only product IDs, search terms, and the prices it observes while shopping. Nothing else. There are no trackers on any signed-in page.

Dinner, decided. Shopping, done.
